Mauritius deal for LVS

Sports book software provider LVS has signed an agreement with Stevenhills Ltd, the largest sports book operator in Mauritius, to provide its Advanced Betting Platform (ABP).
The software from LVS, which is owned by La Francaise des Jeux, will enable Stevenhills to manually or automatically manage its operation ‘from creation to pricing to settlement of events’ as well as offering its customers many more betting opportunities without the need to increase its trading team. Stevenhills will also be able to utilise the ABP system’s ‘sophisticated risk management capabilities’.
Simon Ordish, CEO of LVS, comments, “LVS has leveraged its 14 years experience as a sports book developer to deliver what is now the most modern sports betting platform on the market. Our Advanced Betting Platform, with its sophisticated risk management and event management technology, enables operators to rapidly increase their operation without the usual resource overhead. Mauritius is a very competitive market for sports betting and Stevenhills have been the leading bookmaker there for some time, so we are delighted to be working with them.”
Steve Wan, Stevenhills Managing Director added, “We always want to offer our customers the most modern form of sports betting in order to give them the best experience when visiting our retail outlets. After a long search it was obvious that LVS’ ABP was a perfect solution for us. It will allow us to totally modernize how we offer the service within our outlets and also extend our offering substantially on both pre-event and in-running events. LVS provide sports betting platform to Loterie National De Cote D’Ivoir

Online sportsbook software provider LVS has announced that it has signed a deal that will see it provide its Advanced Betting Platform (ABP) to the Loterie National De Cote D’Ivoir (LoNaCI) in the Ivory Coast.
London-based LVS is owned by French national lottery operator La Francaise Des Jeux (FDJ) and revealed that LoNaCI, which is the exclusive gambling operator for the Ivory Coast, is set to use ABP for the purposes of launching a sportsbook under the Sportcash brand name in time for the start of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations football tournament.
LVS declared that phase one of the plan will see the Sportcash offering made available in 80 shops before growing to support some 2,000 terminals in addition to existing lottery-style games and pari-mutuel horseracing over the course of the next year.
“This is the second deal with a state-owned lottery operator that LVS has completed and we are extremely pleased that LoNaCI chose the ABP for its sportsbetting platform,” said Simon Ordish, Chief Executive Officer for LVS.
“Our ABP, with its sophisticated risk management and event management technology, enables operators to rapidly increase their operation without the usual resource overhead.
“When an organisation such as LoNaCI trusts LVS over many of the other major sportsbook suppliers in the market, it is a huge compliment to our product and team. We are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with LoNaCI.”
LVS stated that it worked with partners Morpho and LotSys on the retail capabilities of its ABP in order to offer LoNaCI customers ‘a complete multi-channel solution across the Internet, mobile and retail from one single engine’. Its ABP will give LoNaCI the option of manually or automatically managing their operations from creation and pricing to settlement of events while unique price deriving tools are to provide risk management capabilities.

LVS launch new cutting edge Website and CMS tools

LVS have designed a cutting edge, new front-end framework called “Apollo”. The intention is to ensure that each LVS customer website will be “unique” and match all the customer’s bespoke requirements, whilst at the same time being developed in as cost efficient a manner as possible.

Apollo was built using framework methodology. Each customer website is built from an ever expanding library of components which are designed to be interchangeable within the framework and can be supported by the same content management system (CMS). Each component is also designed so that can be easily “branded” and will adopt the corporate look and feel of the client.
New components are easily swapped in and out, using a drag and drop function so that day to day content is easily controlled by non technical staff, and the website is constantly kept fresh for the players.

The CMS gives the operator full control of tabs and footer links and generic content such as T&Cs. It also allows the operator to define dynamic content onto the website directly from the back office solution.

Other features include:
• Ability to upload images, flash content or HTML into advertising and other user defined components
• Full access control with each operator have defined privilege levels to control the content which they can control
• Publish start and expiry dates. Components can automatically swap in and out without operator interaction
• Full multi-website and multi-language support.

Ron Regan, Sales & Marketing Director for LVS says, “Each website can now have unique functionality and appears to end players as though fully bespoke to the operator, but at the same time many areas can still be built from standard components to save time and cost.”
He goes on to say “Everything is written using Ruby on Rails. These components have no dependency at all on flash and therefore runs perfectly on iPad, iPhone etc“

Apollo is now available in LVS’s latest version of the Advanced Betting Platform. For more information please go to www.lvs.co.uk or for a demo of the new features please contact LVS at the following:
